These terms govern your use of Crowpay. By creating a campaign or making a contribution you agree to them.

Crowpay is a contribution management platform that lets individuals, families, chamas and organizations raise funds, collect contributions through mobile money, and share an automatically generated ledger with their community. Crowpay is a technology provider — we are not a bank, and we do not guarantee that any campaign reaches its goal.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. We may suspend accounts that provide false information or that are used to abuse the platform.
Misrepresenting a cause is the most serious violation of these terms. It can result in the campaign being frozen, funds being withheld, and the matter being reported to the relevant authorities.
Contributions are voluntary transfers to the organizer, not purchases, investments or loans. You are not buying a good or a service, and you should only contribute to campaigns and people you trust. Every confirmed contribution is written to an append-only ledger and is visible on the campaign page unless the contributor chose to remain anonymous.
You may not use Crowpay to raise funds for:
Crowpay charges a platform fee on confirmed contributions, and mobile money providers charge their own transaction fees. All applicable fees are shown before a contribution is confirmed and are itemised on the organizer payout statement. We will give notice before changing the fee schedule.
Payouts are made to the verified mobile money or bank account on the organizer's profile. We may delay or withhold a payout while we investigate a report, a chargeback, a suspected policy breach, or a verification failure. We may also hold funds where required by law.
We may suspend or terminate access to Crowpay where a campaign breaches these terms, where we are required to by law, or where continued use creates risk for contributors. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to respond.
Crowpay is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for the conduct of organizers or contributors, or for outages caused by third-party payment or messaging providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms as the product and the regulatory environment evolve. Material changes will be announced on the platform before they take effect. Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page.
